Dear CloudCompare enthusiasts,
A new version has been released
You'll find it here: 32 bits - http://www danielgm net/cc/release/CloudCompare_bin_32bits_v2 4_07_03_2012 zip 64 bits - http://www danielgm net/cc/release/CloudCompare_bin_64bits_v2 4_07_03_2012 zip
And for the new features: - LAS file import now handles intensity and classification fields (both imported as scalar fields) - The 2D part of labels is no longer displayed in the 'Point list picking' tool (to mimick the old behavior) - New type of label: rectangular area labels can be defined on screen to annotate a particular zone * see http://www danielgm net/cc/images/cc_labels png for a quick overlook of all labeling possiblities of CloudCompare * they can be created with the Point Picking tool - don't forget to "save" the label once created - Bugs fixed: * some algorithms applied on multiple entities at the same time could make CC crash * E57 reading crashed since last version!
You'll also find the new ccViewer versions here: 32 bits - http://www danielgm net/cc/release/ccViewer_v1 0 16_32bits_07_03_2012 zip 64 bits - http://www danielgm net/cc/release/ccViewer_v1 0 16_64bits_07_03_2012 zip
Enjoy,
CloudCompare Admin
