could a colored .ply save as colored .fbx

I have a colored .ply ,and it's ok when i use cloudcompare to open it
now I need a colored .fbx for unity3d,here is the problem I tried to save the .ply file as .fbx, but when I open it in unity3d ,it has no color. maybe there are some things i need do before i save it as .fbx.

No problem on your side, I believe that the FBX support is just not complete. I'll look at this asap.

Okay, this was a bit painful but it should work now (I have tested it with Autodesk 'FBX Review' tool).
The new (beta) versions is here:

(upload is pretty slow tonight, it should be ready in a few hours... total size is 53.585.692 bytes)

Hey everyone !
I just wanted to know if you succeeded to create a colored fbx file for unity 3D From a colored ply file, I have the exact same issue right now and I don't have a clue how to repair that ...
