Exporting Parts of a scan as individual files - with global offset

Post by gabe3D »

Hi, first time posting here, looking for help as I'm a bit stuck.
I have a very large point cloud (.e57 file). It's made up of 60 or so scans. I'm looking for a way to export each of these scans as individual files.

When I do Save As > Ascii (.xyz) it generates files for each scan but each file has lost its global offset.
When I just select one Scan at a time in the tree and save as .e57 again I lose the global offset.

By "lose the global offset" I mean the origin of the exported cloud is moved to the centre of the bounding box.

Any help much appreciated!

That's weird... Which version of CC are you using?
