Surface density
Hello! I would like to determine the dot density of my scans. My approach is to use the “surface density” function via “compute geometric features”. This gives me the points per m3 , right? If I have an average of 750 thousand points per m3 in the scan in the example, then I would have 0.75 points in one cm3. That doesn't make much sense in my case, as I have soil surfaces. Could I then also take it as an area and say there are 75 points per cm2? Or is there an easier or different way? Thanks for the help in advance! - Antonia

Re: Surface density
Since it's 'surface' density, it's points per m2. And we use the number of points divided by the surface of the disc (corresponding to the radius you've set). That's what you where looking for I believe?
