Hi,
I have been doing some Cloud2Cloud distances comparisons. And there is one thing that would make it a lot more useful, if it would be possible to be able to set the 'Display ranges' to a higher value than the highest calculated.
Now al my 'colorscales' are very different making it difficult to compare. I hope this is a simple request, thanks in advance.
Regards,
Valentin
Display ranges
Re: Display ranges
The "standard" way to do this in CloudCompare is to define your own "absolute" color scale and then use it for all clouds.
You can use the "Edit > Scalar Fields > Color Scales Manager" tool to do so (or just click on the gear icon next to the "current" color scale combo box in the properties dialog of a cloud).
You can copy an existing color scale and then change its mode to "absolute" (i.e. to map colors to absolute values instead of the relative "min/max" values of the current scalar field).
Don't hesitate to ask me for more details if it's not clear.
