Observation:
In the recent updates, I’ve noticed that subsampling doesn’t seem as robust as before. This could be completely esoteric on my part, but I have observed that when I subsample multiple clouds with color, the prioritization of color is significantly reduced.

Question:
Is there any plan to implement subsampling that prioritizes color more effectively?

What do you mean by 'the prioritization of color is significantly reduced'. Color has never been driving subsampling. It's a random process.

And if it were, how do you imagine such a prioritization to work?
