Hello, I would like to ask if the RMS is affected by the total number of equivalent point mesh between two clouds. Or the accuracy of the different points that are chosen between the two clouds.

If you refer to the 'Align' tool (point pairs picking) then only the picked points are used to compute the RMS.

And if you refer to the ICP tool, then the RMS is computed with the last sampled set of points.
