hi gents.
I m looking at CC to compare a theroretical model to a points cloud.
knowing the shape all curved tubes probably drawn in solidworks, I expect the export to be a polymesh in dwg/dwf format.
is it a format CC can deal with or it needs some alteration to enable CC to import it?
regards
polymesh
Re: polymesh
Nope, dwg/dwf is not a supported format (yet). For the moment the only true CAD format supported is PDMS '.mac' script (don't think you'll generate this easily though ;).
You'll have to convert it to a tessellated triangular format (STL or OBJ typically - SoidWorks can export to STL at least). Don't hesitate to put a lot of triangles if you want a good accuracy.
