Labels and point ordering

Hi,

I have a file with points in the following format: Label, X, Y, Z.

I want to perform a rotation on the point cloud (only a few hundred points) then reexport. It does work, but the labels don't get exported (which I understand is a software limitation).

Now my question is, will all points get exported in the same order as they were in the input file? Or are they random? If they are strictly in the same order I can add a label column in an editor and copy/paste labels from the original file, but I want to make sure.

Yes, the order of points is not changed in CloudCompare (unless you subsample the cloud or something like that). It should be safe to merge the labels column afterward.
