Gauss plot

Post by Mohamad »

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for this great software. I have a small question related to the Gauss plot. Is there any way to change the scale of the graph for a better visualization of the plot (change the count). Please check the attached screenshot.

Ah, it seems you have a lot of points with a zero distance! So it's definitely not a Normal distribution.

And sadly, no, you can't change the histogram scale. You can either export the histogram itself (with the small icon on the top right side) and load it in Excel or a similar software. Or you can also export the cloud (with the distances values) as an ASCII file and import it as well in another software such as Excel.

Thanks for your quick response! So, as I understood from you there is something wrong about the plot itself which could be related to the input data.

Looking at it again, I think the issue is that you used a 'max distance' value. This causes that all the points with a distance above 0.12 are stacked together.

Yes, I used max distance to visualize my result! should I used filter by Value instead ? Thank you
