Segmentation tool tunnels out of back of camera

I sometimes use CloudCompare for cleaning sites obtained from a laser scanner. I kept noticing giant chunks taken out of the roadway after I was done cleaning a site. I did some testing and it turns out that the Segmentation Tool tunnels through the polygon not only out the front of the camera but also out the back. Is it possible to disable this setting?

This has been fixed in the latest 2.13.alpha release normally? And also the 2.12.4 version if I'm not mistaken.
