When displaying the point cloud, the box is automatically set as in the photo A. Is it possible to turn it permanently as shown in photo B?

The bounding-box is aligned with the main axes (X, Y and Z) by default.

You can rotate the cloud so that it appears aligned as in the Cross Section tool (for instance with the 'Edit > Translate / Rotate' tool), but that's maybe not what you are looking for...
