CloudCompare vs. CloudCompare Stereo

I'm sorry I have to ask this totally newb question, but can someone tell me what the difference is between CloudCompare and CloudCompare Stereo? TIA
Ah the 'Stereo' version supports stereo display with some specific hardware (NVidia vision, Oculus and other stereo display systems). You'll need a graphic card with 'quad buffer' support to use them.
The standard version only supports anaglyph stereo vision (red/blue or similar renderings).
