Cross section and measure at the same time

Hi there, I'm having trouble using the cross section and measurement tools at the same time. I have a point cloud from scanning the inside of a building. I use the cross section tool to see "inside". I want to measure the distance between two points inside the building. But when I use the measurement tool (with the cross section still on), and select the two points inside the building, the points that are actually selected are the outer points of the cloud, as if the cross section was not enabled.
Am I using one or both of these tools incorrectly?

Yes indeed, the point picking tool doesn't take into account the cross section tool current state!

You would have to export the currently visible points as a new cloud (with the 'Export selection as new cloud' option). Close the Cross section tool, and eventually use the point picking tool... Not super effective, sorry.
