Coordinate system changed after interactive segmentation

Hi there,

I'm new to CloudCompare and not really sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm using the interactive segmentation tool on a pointcloud as described https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... ation_Tool. However, when I save my segmentation as a new .pcd file, I end up in a different coordinate system or the points are somehow changed. You can see it on the visualization:

Pink is the original pointcloud, green is the segmentation and red is the remaining cloud.

So why are they not aligned anymore?

Thanks for your help.

That's odd. It looks as if two dimensions were swapped? Like X and Y for instance... Does it happen when you re-load the PCD files in CC or when you load them in another tool?

Exactly, the axes are somehow changed in CC. I realized it's independent of the segmentation step. When I save it as .pcd in CC and reload it in PCL, the model is rotated.

This is how the header is changed after saving it in CC (left: original, right: CC):

Can you send me the file then? (to admin[at]cloudcompare.org). I can't reproduce this on my side, I guess it comes from something in the original file?
