v2.9.1 save to point cloud

Hello! I'm using CC 2.9.1 and I'm trying to save an OBJ as a PTS file after using MESH>>sample point. The save dialogue doesn't seem to show PTS or ascii cloud as an option. Am I missing something?

If you sample points on a mesh, make sure to select the resulting point cloud (and not its container). Then in the 'File > Save' dialog you should at least see the 'ASCII' filter. Then you can manually set the extension to be PTS and choose the right options in the ASCII export dialog (mainly add the number of points at the beginning of the file, and then use the right order for normals and colors).
