May i measure volume with a holes?

Post by felixyikhang »

Thx for this amazing CC apps ;)

im a new CC user. As show on photo below, how can i extend the points(at the yellow, green and blue region) to ground level(orange and red region) to form a close model for volume measure by mesh? Or any other methods to solve the problem?

thx a lot for the disturbing.

Sorry for the delay, I kind of missed your message.

I'm not sure to understand: where is the hole you want to mesh?

Anyway, if you want to create a closed mesh, you can try with Poisson Surface Reconstruction (however you'll need some good normals, and it tends to create 'bubbles' in parts without points (see http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/in ... n_(plugin)).
