Hello Daniel,

a filter for the DB Tree would be very nice.

For example if you use the RANSAC-Plugin you get multiple (hundreds, thousands, ...) files as an output stored in a tree. For example if you want to export a certain kind of a data (contour points) right now you need to expand the branch and select all data manually.

It would be nice to filter the DB tree by type (for example contourpoints or polygones), by hierachy order and/or by name.

I'll add this to the TODO list however.

Note that when you right-click on a group (in the DB tree) you can select the 'Sort siblings...' options (either by name or by type). In your case you have too many groups to use it, but we could add an option to do the same - at least for the 'Sort by type' option - in a recursive way. It would be much easier.
