Hi there!
Decided to fulfill my longstanding promice and make a ukrainian translate.
Have two questions for now.
1. Is there a 'blank' .ts-file for translation? For now I just took an existing translation file (in my case it's german), change the name and language in settings, and started translate there. Afraid a bit if there are the same strings ammount in all files :)
2. There's a qt_uk.qm file in programm folder already. First of all, the official abbreviation is ua, uk is for Great Britain. And second - I could open that file and it seems someone has done a piece of translation there. Are these files concerning the same data? Should I continue working with CloudCompare_ua.ts in this case?
Thanks in advance!

1) There's no blank .ts translation, but you can create one by adding a new line to the 'scripts/windows/updateTranslations.bat' file (with the right ts filename - see below). You'll probably also need to update the 'QT_DIR' variable in this batch file, and eventually run it.
2) The qt_xx.qm files are provided by Qt for their own widgets, the default button names, etc.. So first, it seems they've chosen 'uk' for Ukrainian... Not sure we can change the language suffix sadly.
But yes, you can start creating a CloudCompare_uk.ts file and translate the CloudCompare specific strings.
Eventually, when you are done you can either share the file with me and I'll update the files on git, or you can do it of course and open a PR.
EDIT: if you start from an existing .ts file, you should use the ones in the latest master branch as I've just 'refreshed' them:

Thanks. Fortunately I've done not a lot of translation with a previous one :)

Translation is finished. I even managed to create a pull request on GitHub repository.
Hope it will help other users.
