I''ve a relatively long road scan, 2 pass, Each pass is like 90gb in .las
I'm able to open all at once but I can see everything is about to collapse, if I try to merge I get out of memory err.
My Idea was to trim the data using a poliline grid, like lets say 60 poliline squares.
To trim in the command line as suggested, is it needed to have all the files merged? would it be possible to host all the files in a .bin, loose without merge, and run the trim command so data is trimmed to a .las per points falling withing the bounds of each square?
If not,I think I'm able to merge half the dataset, but I could not manage to manually select on screen half of the data with a selection box, is there a way to visually select data chunks in the viewport?
How can I segment with more than one polyline?

Hum, I don't think there are good options now... We really need out of core support, etc.
