just wanted to know if it is possible to do 3D Scans with a Kinect V2 and CloudCompare?
If yes, how is that to be done?
How do I connect the Kinect V2 to CC?

Nope, not yet. It was in the pipe but I don't have a Kinect V2 therefore I can't test it (and I'm not that motivated ;).
Especially since you can already grab very nice meshes with the official Microsoft demo programs that are shipped with the Kinect V2 SDK (and then export them to STL or OBJ if I remember well).
