Color issue on ubuntu 14.04

Hi everybody.
I have a few .ply files that i have to work on but the colors appear to not work properly.
I'll attach images from CloudCompare and MeshLab to show you what i mean.
Since I need to use cc, does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

I bet it's the normals (that should be deactivated).

Unfortunately it's even worse now, probably because of the lighting



I'll attach the "ply file open" window, too, if it can help.

While i was trying to use segment button everything temporarily worked! But as soon as i confirmed the segmentation the colors went back to what i showed you before. Hope this can help.

Sure, but i tried a few other .ply files that are perfectly working in the windows version of CC that still look weird in ubuntu.
Most of them are brownish like the one i showed you before. A few exceptions are the palace i originally posted (that is not in one plain solid color like the others, but still doesn't look right at all) and theese ones.



The "segment trick" still works



Anyway i'll send you the files if you want to check for yourself.

Maybe an issue with the OpenGL driver then (especially since we don't use the same OpenGL commands when displaying the clouds in standard mode and in Interactive Segmentation mode).

Well, i tried to use the proprietary AMD drivers instead of the open ones and now it works just fine!
