lat long of origin

Post by carrier24sg »

Sorry, just got started with this program, confused as there's too many functions available.

Is it possible to view the lat/long of any points and the origin of a .laz file. I have compiled with liblas and laszip included.

Well you can 'view' the coordinates of any point by spawning a label (SHIFT + left click on the point).

thanks Daniel,

what about the UTM coordinate of the origin or any point, according to the spatial reference parameters in the .las file?

I'm asking because I've had problem identifying in which location the scan was taken. http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/ ... -las-files
