Command line: cross section and transformation

Post by ccastilloro2 »

Hi, Daniel! I was interested in performing a few command line operations succesively withouth the need of the operator.

- I would like to extract a cross section from a point cloud using an existing polyline (loading in .bin or dxf format as in the interface) and not using the xml file alternative. Is that possible?
- I would also like to apply a transformation to a point cloud using the orientation matrix given in the command window from a best plane fitting. Can CC save this matrix as a txt.file in command line? Can we indicate in command line the activation of the 'Apply inverse transformation' option?

Thanks a lot in advance!

All the best,

Carlos

Hi,

- The first option is not available.
- The second option is not available... but it's much easier to integrate ;)

I'll add both to the TODO list (but the second one will probably come out much sooner than the first one ;).

Thanks, Daniel! I´m really grateful for your willingness to accept our suggestions! Is there a way to check when a new feature has been included?

All the best,

Carlos

If you are lucky I'll leave a message in this thread. Otherwise you'll have to anxiously wait and discover it when a new release comes out ;)
