Importing MS 1000 data

Post by Urzatron »

Hello. This is my first time working with this program, and I seem to have hit a (hopefully user error) snag. I am trying to import data from a MS 1000 profiler, except whenever I do the data is just a line. It registers all ~49,000 points, from what I can tell. The file is a .txt file. Any help would be appreciated!

What does the file looks like? Can you post the first lines maybe?
And maybe also the ASCII import dialog?

Sometimes this kind of issue is due to a wrong decimal character (e.g. a comma instead of a point) which prevents CC from reading the decimal values correctly.

I just found the solution. I had not selected a comma as the separator for the file data, since that is what appears in the .txt file. My bad!
