Issue with opening a dp file (DOT Product)

Greetings. I'm new to the group and would appreciate a little help with DOT Product dp files. I have downloaded the latest version of CC 2.6.1.
In the release notes it confirms the compatibility with opening DOT Product .dp files. However when I try to open a file type (dp), I cannot locate
the file extension in the file open dialoque box. Not sure what I'm missing or if I needed to add a plugin.

Hi,

Indeed some DLL files are missing in some packages of CloudCompare. Meanwhile, just download and install the 'Visual 2013 Redistributable package' from Microsoft:

Normally that should fix the error.
