Box thickness by mouse or keyboard

There is difference between using mouse to pull arrow to change Z and using number or clicking up-down spin control

Same Box Thickness Z but one by mouse dragging and one by keyboard
result is different ??

Do you hit the enter key at the end of the keyboard input?
