CloudCompare won’t save my project file

Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with CloudCompare — the software doesn’t save the file I’m working on. Every time I try to save, nothing happens and the file isn’t created or updated.
I’ve already tried several things to fix it, including:
Disabling the “Ask for confirmation before quitting” option
Granting CloudCompare full disk access (I’m on macOS, MacBook Air (M2, 2022))
Despite these attempts, the problem persists. I can work on the project, but I can’t save any progress, which is really frustrating.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
