unable to load .mac files

I am using CC on windows 64 bit. I am able to load .pts. When I open a .mac file with file type (ALL(*)), it gives error "Can't guess file format: unknown file extension 'mac' " and with file type PDMS(*.pdms *.pdmsmac *.mac), it says "File loaded successfully", but cannot see anything. Am I missing some thing?

Well, it's possible that the automatic detection mechanism based on the file extension doesn't recognize ".mac" by default.

And about the fact that you can't see anything... maybe the primitives inside the file are not supported? What are their types? Can you share the file with me maybe? (cloudcompare [at] danielgm.net)
