Poisson Surface Reconstruction

I am currently writing my master thesis and I use CloudCompare's Poisson Surface Reconstruction in it.
Is this plugin based in the article by M. Kazhdan and H. Hoppe?
I am asking this to know if I can cite this article in the thesis as the basis for this plugin.

Yes, this plugin directly uses the PoissonRecon library from M. Kazhdan.

So I guess you should cite their work primarily (and maybe say somewhere that you used it via CloudCompare?)
