Imported point clouds locked together?

Hello, I'm new to CloudCompare, but have watched several training videos. However, when I import 2 separate point clouds, both just seem to be merged and locked together and I cannot see how to separate them. I've tried turning one off and moving the other, but when I turn the other back on, they are still locked together in the new position. I've tried selecting one, but when I move it, they both move. Any help greatly appreciated to save me hours of hunting. Thank you in anticipation.

You have to use the 'Translate/rotate' tool: https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... ation_Tool

(and make sure to select the cloud entity, and not its parent folder).
