I recently encountered a situation where I needed to unroll a partial cone from a point cloud. However, despite following the available instructions and adjusting the settings, the software only generates a straightened cone view, similar to that of a cylinder. The resulting unrolled view does not accurately represent the shape and geometry of the original partial cone.

Have you tried the latest 2.13.alpha version? The 'Unroll' tool has changed quite a bit.
