Max edge length in the Rasterize tool

Hi!
I have a question regarding the "Max edge length" in the Rasterize tool.
My point cloud is in the unit of meters. I set my Grid step size in the rasterize tools to 0.1, which then will be 0.1 m.
When I then set my "Max edge length" to 8, will 8 then be 8 m, or does it take the scale of the rasterized product being 8*0.1 = 0.8 m?

Sorry for the late reply.

Yes, we use the same units as the cloud coordinates. ('8' = 8 m.)
