Data exported from facets plugin

Hi, I am working on extracting rock fracture spacing and orientation from laser scans and have a question about the data exported from the facets plugin. I have attached an image of the data which was exported after running the facets plugin. I was wondering what the headings 'horiz_ext' 'vert_ext' and 'surf_ext' are showing. I know that they stand for horizontal extent etc but is that of the individual facets or does it give information about the borders of the facets? I just can't visualize what this means inside my head, could someone help me with this? thanks in advance!

This is the horizontal and vertical extents of the bounding 'square' of the facet (and the surface is just the surface of this square, I bet it should be equal to horiz_ext * vert_ext.
