How to save an .FBX from a .PLY or .LAS?

Hello, I know nothing about nothing.

I've been using CC to convert .las to .ply to view in Blender with Point Cloud Visualizer. (And use as a reference to model)
Now I need an .FBX version of my .PLY

Can CC do this? I checked the forums/wiki and saw a couple posts that it should be possible.... How?

CC can only export meshes to FBX files. So you need first to mesh the clouds, with Poisson Surface Reconstruction for instance (warning, that's not always super straightforward ;). See https://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/i ... n_(plugin)
