Animation mode is not supported (no FFMPEG support)

Hi there

I would like to create animations in CloudCompare however I get the following error message.

Animation mode is not supported (no FFMPEG support)

I have installed FFMPEG with homebrew and it is located at /opt/homebrew/bin/ffmpeg. I did this before installing CloudCompare

CloudCompare version 2.12.3
FFMPEG version 5.1.1
macOS 12.4

Any solution greatly appreciated!

Ah sadly you would also need to compile CC with ffmpeg support! This is not done in the default macOS version because Thomas didn't manage so far to make it work... See https://github.com/CloudCompare/CloudCo ... ssues/1671
