Hi, bit of a newbie question here but i have opened an OBJ file no problem and i can see my textured model. I want to clean it up a bit as the LIdar Scan has over spilled a bit but the SOR tool is greyed out. My model is highlighted with the yellow box but it seems that hardly any of the options are available.
Any ideas what might be going wrong?

OBJ files contain triangular meshes. While the SOR filter and most of the other tools in CloudCompare are to be used on... point clouds ;)
One solution would be to apply the algorithm to the mesh vertices (the point cloud entity which is below the mesh entity in the DB tree). But you will lose the mesh/triangles information.
