Compute Normals

Post by Iandesu »

Hi !
I'm new to CloudCompare and I want to convert point cloud (las) to mesh but when I clicked on PoissonRecon, there was a error saying "Cloud must have normals!" so I went to Edit > normals > Compute and I tried with many values for the octree radius and minimum spanning Tree but the object is half black and wierd... how can I have a good normals?

Thank you.

Ah, computing good normals can be a challenge depending on the shape of your cloud. Can you share a visual of your cloud with us maybe?
