I am new to scanning. I am trying to merge two scan clouds using the "Align two clouds by picking (at least 4) equivalent point pairs" button. Only the "show to 'align' entities box is activated (checked). I pick the 4 points on the cloud which get listed in the "show to 'align' entities box, but when I try to check the "show 'reference' entities box it will not check or activate to allow me to pick the points. Please help.

Have you selected (at least) 2 entities and chose only one to be the aligned entity?

This tool can technically be used with only one or several aligned clouds, in which case the 'reference' points will have to be manually input.
