Projecting an Image to pointcloud data

Is it possible to colorize a pointcloud data using an bmp/jpg image after aligning the image to pointcloud or aligning pointcloud to an image?

Just another link, at this time with an orthophoto. But your well aligned photo can be orientated to the pointcloud like the orthophoto.
