Coordinate system origin - can it be changed?

Hello,

Is it possible to change the origin of point cloud? I read many topics about transformations but I have no idea how to do it.

I would like to select one point as 0,0,0 and rotate cloud so the longest wall will be parallel to x or y-axis.

Well, you can 'pick' the point you would like to have as origin (with SHIFT+ left click, or the 'Point picking' tool). Then you 'just' have to use the 'Edit > Apply Transformation' tool, and input the opposite coordinates of the picked point as translation (-X ; -Y ; -Z).
