Gray scale

Post by dgi33 »

Hello,

I have a dense cloud from SCENE by FARO in shade of gray (RGB)

Some areas are very white and I can't change the gray scale to have less contrast.
These areas are so white that the relief can no longer be seen.

can you help me ?

cordially
David

Well, it depends if these 'gray' colors are RGB colors, or an 'intensity' scalar field?

In the first case, I fear it's too late to change anything, but in the second case you can play on the dynamics of the false colors (either make your own color scale - with the Color scale manager - or more simply play with the corresponding scalar field display parameters - especially the saturation values).

You can try your luck with the 'Edit > Colors > Level' tool. It might help a little, but since the RGB information is already fully saturated on the white points, all the information is lost in these areas...
