M3C2 plug-in

Post by benedetta »

Hi,
I am doing a comparison between two point clouds with M3C2 plugin.
To see the raw data I saved the cloud as a txt file. There are 12 columns. The first three are the coordinates x, y, z, and the last three the normals Nx, Ny, Nz. How can I know which scalar field are the others?
The set up is:
Cloud #1: reference ground cloud
Cloud #2: new cloud that results from the interpolation (IDW in qgis) of the reference cloud
Core point used (whole cloud 1), calculation mode: default, preferred orentation +Z, and I decide to export standard deviation information and point density at projection scale.

Thank you in andvance,
Benedetta

Sorry, just for the records (I already replied to your email):

When you export the cloud (as a TEXT/ASCII file) you have an option to export a header (and especially the "columns title").
