Alignment Grid?

I am scanning some symmetrical data and I want to roughly align the data to a grid (X,Y,Z), but I can't find a way to create a grid in the background. Is there an option to show one? This would be tremendously useful for me.

Nope, sorry, that's not supported for now.

Thanks, it was worth a shot... Hopefully that is easy to implement and can be in future versions. I use them to align scans to grid.
