Export point cloud without vertical exaggeration

Post by ffleury »

Hi all

I've been using CC for a short time (began last week, haha) and I'm really enjoying it sofar.

I did get my XYZ bathymetric point cloud nicely visualized with a vertical exaggeration of 20x, filtered the outliers out using the SOR filter and exported it.

But when I do export, the Z values continues with the vertical exaggeration value instead of the original values. (all my depth points are 20x deeper).

Can anybody help me with exporting it preserving the original depth values?

Thanks in advance!

(I'm pretty sure that's something trivial to do an that I'm missing something!) =)

Where does this 'vertical exaggeration' comes from?

Anyway, if it's really the coordinates that were exaggerated (i.e. multiplied by 20), then you could use the 'Edit > Scale / multiply' tool to rescale them properly.
