Zooming during the point cloud section

Hello all,
from the very beginning I miss the zoom function during the point cloud section. Am I doing something wrong or is there some technical limitation why this could not be implemented yet?

Yes, it's not easy to handle the zoom since the zoom would actually happen in the 3D world, while the polyline is created in 2D (in the screen world).
