Extract several slices or contours

This is my first post, welcome everyone.
I have a question about creating several contours.
It follows the tutorial on Extract several slices or contours:

My problem is that instead of creating a few contours, it creates one. I do everything as in the tutorial but unfortunately it does not work out. I can not figure out why this is happening. Please help me solve the problem

Two options:
- either your slice thickness is too big (which prevent the 'multiple slice extraction' mode to work properly, as the slice is translated of its own thickness each time)
- or you use the 'single slice extraction' tool instead of the 'multiple slice extraction' one?

And there is a tutorial in a way that you can create grid surfaces from a point cloud ?
