Trace Polyline with Oversample Bug

Just posted an extended comment in Git hub, but has anyone noticed when tracing a polyline using the oversample function, if you rotate the view while tracing, once the oversample is executed, there's a jump or jog in the line that starts right about at the point selected before the view rotation?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
