Slow on everything I do

Hello,

I can't seem to work with CC. I'm new to CC, and when I load an FLS file 145Mb from Faro scanner it takes a lot of time to load before he asks about the RGB yes/no. It takes 55 seconds.
Then the loading begins again for 30 seconds. Loading 44 bilion cells.
That can be normal, I don't know.
But then I want to remove what I don't want.
So I start the cut tool, and that takes ages and my pc drops dead.

I did not subsample, because I think I want to get rid of the original points I don't want.
When I subsample I can work with it.

We want to use CC as our primary tool to get sections out of it. I will have questions related to this too.

My Laptop is a HP Zbook G2 i7-4710MQ, 2.5Ghz, 64 bit, Win8.1 32GB ram
Nvidia Quadro K3100M SSD drives.

That's weird indeed. Which version of CC are you using? (I bet you use the official release package and not a compiled version? In the second case the debug mode would explain why it's slow...).

Another option is that you have an Intel chipset in addition to the Quadro card, and it is use by default (you can check that in the Console (F8) at the beginning). If the chipset is used, then you have to change the Quadro settings (in the NVidia control panel) to force it to be used when using CC.
