Distance

Hi everyone!

Is there maybe a possibility of measuring a certain distance in Cloud Compare? The Point Picking Tool is very useful, if I want to find out the distance between two known points, but if I want to go a certain distance from one specific point,it is difficult. I would like to have a 1,3m distance, but when I use the Point Picking Tool, I can only try to set the second point right, but I will never get exatly 1,30.
Is there an other way of measuring a distance where I can see the distance before I set the second point?

Maybe you could create a sphere with the right diameter (with the 'File > Primitive factory") and move it so that its center matches the coordinate of the origin point (with 'Edit > Apply transformation').

Another option would be to create a cloud with only the origin point (with the 'Point List Picking' tool for instance). And then compute the distance between this single point and the original cloud. Then you'll be able to see or filter the points at the right distance.
